House in Setagaya
A husband who longs for country life and a wife who does not want to leave the city. A husband who said that a larger countryside site was better, and a wife who said that Setagaya was better even if it was small and as a result won the right to choose. A husband who wants a house with a large roof and a deep eave like a countryside house, and a wife who wants a modern house with a sloping ceiling and an atrium. A husband who wants to make a house that is open and spacious toward the outside, but a wife who wants to shut down the line of sight from the main street. A husband who loves the outdoor activities and wants to create a semi-outdoor place such as a porch, a terrace, and a dirt floor, and a wife who loves cooking and wants a kitchen with a wide view of the whole house. A daughter who wants a big desk where she can concentrate on her studies, and a husband and wife who always want to feel the existence of children even while studying.
In order to fulfill the seemingly contradictory needs of the family, I create a spacious house that does not seem to be built in a small site in the city center.
